Yup, Dems are going to agree to give him that 1 billion for NOTHING . These are our so called allies.
But, I guess we are crazy right wingers for calling them out on their shit.

If Dems agree to this, the gov will conduct more raids. Raids have been going on in CA, and 508 people have been arrested so far. For fucks sake. More money without anything done on DACA?

Thread... Important misunderstanding in @politico @playbookplus this am. They mention that Democrats will be able to keep #immigration detention funding lower than what Trump admin wanted, but context here is important... The Trump admin asked for 51,379 beds for FY2018...

This is 50 PERCENT above where detention bed funding was over the last few years under Obama when #immigration detention beds hovered around 34,000. @ICEgov has continually chosen to use more detention beds than it has money for during CRs & then asked Congress to bail them out..

Thus far Congress has bailed them out EACH time. Despite Dems and Rs not being happy that @ICEgov is trying to write itself a blank check from Congress. When it came time to write FY2018 budgets, BOTH the House and Senate did not come close to funding 51,379 detention beds..

So of course the Trump administration is NOT getting every #immigration detention bed it wants, even Republicans in the HOUSE were not willing to fund that amount. But what is happening, is #immigration detention and therefore the deportation machinery IS growing...

Democrats and Republicans who do not want to see #Dreamers, #TPS holders and others filling #immigration detention beds would do well to try an keep @ICEgov in check and not fund these insane levels of detention

What makes you think they won’t vote for it? Isn’t the huge bill getting drafted as we speak? There’s no news outlet reporting said funding won’t be included.

This is a huge betrayal for immigrant communities.

The Congressional Hispanic and Progressive Caucus better not vote for this.

They are not including Dream
They are funding the wall
They are funding deportations

Vote them out.

The budget is written for 50,000 beds - a huge increase.
