I would like think so, because all of this drama and then never doing anything for the next 10 years+ seems like an abandonment of our potential futures and lives in general. Seems like such a despair-filled outcome

Although I know that nothing being done is a sad possibility...
we have to see with midterms, really.
it's looking to be extremely uneventful for the next 6 months, because retarded senators can't get their shit together. if people start expiring and losing protection they'll be a shitstorm.

do you like, not understand how the country works or something?
it's the legislative branch that needs to change at this point.
god willing something gets done by midterms, but if not, that's when we'll get a clearer picture of what's gonna happen.

If they wanted to give us relief, they would have done so already. They chose to get their shit together for their own priorities, DACA is not one.
What shitstorm exactly?

I'm going to explain as simple as possible because I know you're too dumb to understand complex arguments. President = veto power hence I said "2020 needs to yield a new president as well for us to have any chance of having something pass." I assumed most of the other dreamers understood that 2020 would yield a change in the legislative branch. Sorry I didn't account for reading abilities.

daca actually isn't even a complex issue, it's just that people make it complicated by trying to turn into a single party issue. the problem is that both parties want to claim a win on the issue.
they're both ignoring a narrow deal for whatever reason even though it's clear that they can't work something out by adding in broader coverage, cuts to immigration, chain migration, ending the DV lottery(which was actually something dems stated they were open to by the way), TPS protections, etc.

i think trump and co suspect that dems will never agree to legal immigration cuts and changes to chain migration anyway, even if they offer mass amnesty for all, so he's trying to at-least get the DV + wall for now, and i don't see him budging on that.

the shitstorm that'll happen when SC makes a decision.
