I heard DACA recipient couldn't do student visa because we can't establish proof that we will return back to our home country after college.

There have been people (before DACA) that were successfully able to get a student visa in Canada. I believe he ended up picking up the student visa in their country of birth. It's not easy, but possible. Let's face it, if you don't have the correct combination of age, education, and English Test scores, the Express entry is impossible for a lot of DACA people.

when you say it like that its seems like a long shot for everyone but if you look at it DACA people would qualify the best for it because of their age, education, work exp and english test scores.

swim19, you probably would qualify with multiple degrees, score high on the IELTS, and have work experience in a certain field.

all you need is 400+ points. its just such a tedious process, i just decided to apply with a lawyer, the checklist is long. they pick people in a pool every 2 weeks.

but i guess youre right that its impossible for some DACA people, i read somewhere that only 5% of DACA recipients have degrees? *yeah its right. only 57k have Bachelors degrees, which is 5%. https://www.migrationpolicy.org/rese...and-occupation

i scored most my points because of multiple degrees and work experience in management but im already 29 so i cant wait any longer beause if im over 30, i start to lose points.

I'm wasn't talking about myself. I personally qualify as long as I get high IETLS score - I'm taking it in a few months (though my age is starting to really effect my score as I'm closer to 35 than 30). My younger brother only has a bachelor degree and he does not qualify (he took IETLS, had his degree assessed, etc). He's under 400 points. So as I said, many DACA recipients will not qualify.

He's 31. He has the required work exprience. He qualifed as in he has all the requirements, but it added up to less than 400 and it's unlikely it will go under 400.

Those with job experience in the correct field, advanced degree and around the ago of 30 will have enough points, but I don't think we should make it sound as if everyone qualifies. People need to be aware of the requirements and assess their personal situation.
