Has anyone submitted an online case assistance submitting form DHS 7001 for Case inquiry regarding I-765 EAD?

If yes, when did you get a response after form submission?

I did in 2016 and it take around 6-8 weeks. They are only allowed to give you generic information regarding your case so it did not help.

I did it back in 2014 when my DACA was approved 3 days after my current one expired (it took them about 4 weeks or so at that time to reply). I don't think it was much help, but if you do it I don't think it will hurt either. You can do that and I also suggest a congressional inquiry depending on the nature of your issue.

I did in May 2017 and in my opinion it helped me get my approval 2 days before expiration (I had to wait a few add’l days to receive it in the mail) but had peace of mind seeing the approval online.

It doesnt hurt - go ahead and contact them. Good luck!

What is the estimated time to a response these days? Not the auto-generated one.

I did in 2015. Got a response within 20-30 days. I got approved shortly after their response.
