You have to learn to appreciate the opportunity you have been given. Think about the people that don't even have DACA and still manage to get by because they have no other option. We can't always get what we want in life but we have to make the best out of every situation. Be thankful for the things that you have like most important, health. I am in mid 30's , married with 3 kids and no college education and no career, and just thankful to have a job.

At least you have DACA AND 245i so you have the world by the balls at the moment.

I agree with all posts. These struggles we been thru have made us who we are today. Life isnt perfect for anybody and we all know whats our biggest burden is but we cant let that keep us from pushing forward like we always have. I truly believe that if I was a USC with everything handed to me, I wouldn't be the ambitious and motivated person I am today. We need to look at our situation on the positive side and keep our heads up throughout this bullshit. The more thought you put into a situation the worse it seems to be so try to stay busy and not overthink the bad, it will kill you slowly. Look at the cup of water as half full instead of half empty. Im proud to to come on this website and see my fellow dreamers be successful in a country that doesn't even want us it seems. Nonetheless, we keep pushing and I know that one day this shit will be over. Atleast we have DACA as a temporary band aid,11 million out there dont even have that. Be grateful for what you have but never settle with what you have, lets get it.

What brokeassdreamer said. Just take a deep breath man. Be happy with yourself, make it work with what you have, and trust me even after citi there are more challenges to come.

I already lost it a long time ago. Not worried about it anymore. I accept it, I appreciate it.

I completely agree. I always feel that there is something i need to prove, i need to be seen as one of the best, and i need to out work everyone i work with.. I try not to be a dick but that is the mentality i developed since i learned about my status.

I hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Even if i am forced to leave, I am developing still and earning degrees that will get me a great job in another country.

All is not bleak. I use to be worry about how i will make it if i am force to leave the US but not i am confident i will succeed where ever i go. I am developing still that every corporation needs and looks for.

Start preparing and build the confidence to succeed no matter what happens. When you do that, the fear effects you less

I work for environmental company that collects and disposes of hazardous waste. It's not really a job that I want to do forever but I am thankful to have something that pays descent enough that I can provide for family. Sometimes I feel stuck because some of the higher position within the company require you to be a USC or PR. But I learned to make it work and enjoy what I have instead of dwelling on what I don't have.

If anything, when they pass dream act, or whatever it may be, they will need to pass psychological treatment with it too.
