People are saying Dems are using daca as a platform to get votes instead of trying to solve the issue and it looks like they could be right... But we will see what is really happening after November and if they forget us .

If we can renew once more before the court rulings, we should , just to gain the few months more of safety.
Really it all depends on how smart democrats play it. If they take both chambers in 2018 they can write DACA into a budget bill as a raider and leave it to Trump to veto it.

The senate will be hard to take because most of the seats up for re-election are democratic seat; there is about a five seat margin. The house is different, Dems have a good change but Reps have been gaining ground. The priority need to be the house, it is controlled by the Conservative Far Right. Too many old racist, white people who never met someone of color but hates them any way.

But we are right now a bargaining chip for both sides. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst

Senate is hard but not impossible. I'd argue it's more important than the house since democrats can then stonewall any judicial nominees.

There are essentially 8 states in play: ND, IN, MO, NV, AZ, TN, TX, and FL (4D, 4R). Democrats are doing okay in all of them. Election is 7 months away so a lot can change, but I feel like these will drift to democrats as time goes by.

Republicans have been gaining ground because that's what happens when you don't have the white house. The enemy base is energized and a whole lot of people are pissed at Trump which translates to increased Dem turnout, depressed R turnout, and the few swing voters voting D rather than R.

Keep in mind, we flipped Session's old seat from Alabama in this climate, nothing is out of reach.

Your absolutely right... But whats important is what will get done once the election is settled. Hopefully daca is taken seriously in 2019.
