My parents are from Honduras.
They've got the ead that expires this summer but now it looks like they have to apply again for the one that expires in 2020.

My parents are from Nicaragua. They still haven’t received their EAD as well as some of their friends from the same country. They applied December of last year. Not sure what to make of it as I currently don’t live with them

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. My parents had applied for tps last year as well but their ead only became valid for 6 months because homeland hadnt made a decision to cancel tps and now homeland security is allowing one more renewal but Honduras tps is now officially canceled.

The way the housing market is looking... I think there will be a crash soon.

Yeeee. If you look online on some economist sites, they are predicting a small recession beginning 2020, so prices might go down a bit then

I hope so!

I have the 20% down payment so I can scoop me a house up when the time is up.

So whose living on their own? Just curious

And does it get lonely at times? I’m used to speaking to people when i’m home.

I used to live with roommates during my first years of college, and I would pick living alone and sometimes getting lonely over living with other people ever again
