I am more frustrated with congress and all of the politics they are playing with our lives. This could have been resolved back in 2010 and even in todays political climate, over 80% of citizens ( both dems and rep) support us getting a path to citizenship but congress chooses to do nothing. The republicans want their anti immigrant agenda and dems wants to use the issue to galvanize support for midterms.

Frankly i would be fine with permanent residence and not have to worry about daca being revoked or my ead running out.

My parent was put in a bad situation and had to make a choice. I dont hold it against them, I am just trying to push forward with my life. I lost jobs and so many opportunities because of my immigration status but there is nothing i can do about it now. I have my eyes set on early retirement, so i only have to endure for 8 or 9 more years. I just hope to keep my current job

That’s bull. If I was her, I would’ve done whatever possible to make sure I had my baby in the US.

exactly, the fact they refuse to give out even permanent residency to productive members of the society shows how much congress cares about us. Giving people a 2 year permit for the past six years does not even make sense anymore. America is proving not be the greatest country in the world.

Hang in there bud! I empathize with you because I'm in a similar situation family wise.

Just remember that you're stronger than you think you are and this shit can't break you. If you want my advice, find what you love to do career wise and dive in head first. You'll be too busy making your dreams come true that you'll forget all about this bs and see what really matters.

Good luck, hope that helps
