I don’t disagree, it will certainly be a culture shock, after all I haven’t been there for 18 years. However, I did live there until I was 11 and I remember loving my childhood. I still have family there and they are doing pretty good. Not to mention that Puerto Vallarta has a very large expat community, meaning it has all the same amenities that I am used to here in the states. Furthermore, statistically speaking, PV is safer than most cities including ones that we tend to associate as very safe (Vancouver is one example). Finally, if for any reason we don’t enjoy Puerto Vallarta (or Mexico in general), we have access to any of the EU countries .

Thanks! Freedom and stability is what I crave the most right now. I am tired of planning my life one renewal at a time without knowing what comes next.

Thank you!! Yes, I’m very exited to explore my roots! I’ve been following some Vlogers living in Mexico for the last few months! It gets me super pumped to see some and visit some of the many amazing places Mexico has. Our mastery of the English language will definitely give us an advantage, that plus the fact that we are both MBA graduates with extensive corporate experience. Our education in the USA is something I will always be extremely grateful for.

No offense but they’ve (politicians) have been “dangling” hope right in front of our faces and then taking it away for over 10 years now.

I truly hope they do pass something that benefits ALL DREAMer once in for all. I’m just tired of waiting and my current circumstances make impossible for wait any longer.

Uh Finanalyst is going to live cheaply on the beach and libertarian is going to the great white north, a place with free health care and minimal mass shootings. Even if the KKK caucus passes something, they’re getting a better deal than being stuck in this country in decline for 8 years.

There is really no deal right now that wont be dead in the Senate. Anything that can pass the house, would be too far right for the senate even if the were to take it up. Anything too liberal like the USA act would not be taken up by the Senate.

Our real chance would be if trump decides to shut down the government over his boarder wall. The issue will need to be taken seriously then by both chambers.

Best of luck !!!! You’re so brave. I also hate living in this “Golden Cage” and want to travel the world but I’m too scared to leave.
