I got lucky because I went to church with my boss and he knew I was a writer, so he asked me if I would be interested. Check out the work at home thread. I posted some info on writing on page three, and a bunch of other people posted some good info about taking surveys and stuff.

Also, check this out:

http://www.writersrow.com/deborahng/

She posts about twenty writing jobs every day, and a lot of them don't require any experience, only writing samples.

What year are you in at UHD? I'm going to be going there in the fall, and I'll be in my sophomore year of Journalism.

Well this is my 2nd semester there. I had to take one off because I didnt have the money to pay. Well I just declared my major and I am pretty sure that would make me a junior or after I am done with this semester. I need to go and get my degree plan done. When you get here let me know I can tell you what teachers suck and I can be your friend lol. Well dont expect me to introduce you I just run in there go to class and run out. I dont have time to talk to anyone or make friends. I did want to join a club or two but all the meetings are during work hours.

haha, well see you there.

I had that same problem last semester when I was going to Cy Fair College. I wanted to join a couple of clubs, but they were either during class or during work.

This is an interesintg thread, i live in CA and things are a little different. If you get pulled over and you don't have DL and the person on the car title has a DL the car gets impounded for 30 days and all the charges are naturally passed on to you along with a $500 ticket for driving without a DL. I have gotten pulled over two times the first i got lucky because my dad still had a valid DL, but just acouple a days ago i got pulled over and they impounded my bros car and totally ruined my plans for the week and maybe for the year.

I live in CALI too. I guess it depends where you live because some police departments are now acting as ICE agents and you could actually get deported if you can't prove you are legal. I read in my local newspaper that someone got a ticket riding a bycicle and since the guy didn't have I.D. they detained him and believe will be deported. Do you have to go to court? Did the police ask you for your I.D. I heard you have to pay a 1,000 fine for the 30 days the car is being impounded plus the $500 ticket for drving without a DL. I'm just curious.
