Its quite unfortunate. Its a good bill with clever ideas and fair ideals but pretty sure Democrats in the house and senate will not want to give all that money for just the DACA population. The Dems have made it quite clear if you want the money immigration bill must include more people. Sadly this is the exact same reason why only bills such as the USA Act and Senator Collin's bill have had any chance to succeed.

GOP do not want an immigration fix before the election and Dems don't want a compromised deal that is going to anger their constituents.

I doubt this will pass. We will have to wait for the scotus to kill daca to pass a bill like this. Without urgency this bill is dead.

This bills is really trying to filter as much people as possible and I wouldn’t be surprised if it disqualified those who use school tax credits

Collins killed the bill at the last minute

the republicans dont owe us amnesty, they are going against their principles by granting “amnesty” to 800k people.

if we want everyone to be included, we have to wait till democrats are in power.
The problem here is that this wont cover all current DACA to begin with. That is messed up. But why am I even discussing this. No way this passes the house, nor the senate. See you guys next year or until the supreme court ends DACA.

Also looks like false claims of citizenship are a disqualification which will hurt a lot of people.

Not to be an ass but the final orders thing is really bothering me because I know so many who will be affected.

So if they received their final orders for being an overstay or because their files were closed and marked for deportation but these orders were given when they were still around 3-5 years old. That shouldn't count against them right? because DACA over ride that order.
