As much as I don't like this bill, if I'm excluded, I am excluded. I'm not going to condemn/shame folks here for looking out for themselves and their families. And I am not going to tell people here that would benefit from this to wait until 2020 so that I can be helped because that is what the advocacy groups and the politicians have told us for the last 18 years since the DREAM Act was introduced.
Well said and I agree.

That sounds most likely.

it wont... even if they get the red state democrats.

ted cruz will never vote for any bill that has “amnesty” in it.

most they could get is 57-59 votes.

Yup at most BUT they will be able to blame Democrats at the appropriate political time and Democrats will be fucked for the elections in Nov. it’s all a political game and Democrats have no idea how to play Republicans back because they are just focused on how Trump is bad...

Reckon we are all in agreement that nothing will pass. Man, I said this back in 2017!

Yup. Depending on how this immigration bill is handled by both parties and how the media feeds it to the public Democrats might get fuked in the ass in November.

Right now it seems like Republicans are the only ones trying to work on immigration, while the Democrats are chilling. I know Democrats cant really do anything about it, but the media is making Republicans sound like they are the only ones working on something even if it is a bad bill. Democrats have to find a way to get into the negotiations.
