What they did was wrong but making them stateless is a human rights violation.

They should make the necessary arrangements to depart the United States immediately. If that means requesting their old citizenship back then be it. Citizenship is granted by birth in most countries, I am sure it is possible to gain it back.

I like how, after all the fucking times DHS flat out lied and falsified to kick the nonwhites out of this country, the people here give them a complete benefit of the doubt.

Do you guys *really* think they won't denaturalize people by "making honest mistakes", and then refuse to let them back in because their "hands are tied by policy"? Are we that fucking naive, or are we that fucking stupid?

Only a federal judge can denaturalize a naturalized US citizen.

If denaturalization proceedings are approved, an individual is removable. However, I believe, the immigration court would then have authority on that end.

If the individual becomes completely stateless, I believe the government works on their removal with their country of origin or other countries and issues a work permit so the individual can support themselves.
