Yet we've been working our way to a solution for over 2 decades and still haven't even come close.

Not getting separated from your mum is miles away from getting legal status. It's an easy bill compare to legalizing 1 million Dreamers.

This

There were articles show DHS did not know what had happened to 1500 kids. Actually they just said they had no way to confirm where they were exactly.

Most dreamers here at least know their parents are. But yes stopping families from being separated is much easier than legalizing all of us.

Keep in mind GOP leaders are supposed to whip the bill TONIGHT, right after the Trump meeting. Vote supposed to happened Thursday. Not a lot of time for “changes” if they’re sticking with that plan...

House was slated to vote on this compromise bill likely Thursday - but now unclear what this bill will even look like after Trump makes changes. Trump/House GOP meeting at 5:30pm tonight.

Here is a look at draft language going in GOP compromise immigration bill regarding family separation at the border per GOP source. Again Trump indicated in remarks earlier he would be making changes to bill after 5:30pm mtg with House Rs tonight

The legislation is still being finalized and the updated version is expected to be circulated later today and discussed at the conference meeting this evening.

Notice how Schummer is on TV saying, "We don't need a law, let Trump sign executive order". What more proof do you need that Dems want issues not solutions... Why would congress defer their oversight on the executive branch? Disgusting.

Dem's don't want to solve the problem, because than they can't use us as political pawns to get votes and get control of the House/Senate.

If they solve the issue now, it would make Trump and the GOP look "strong." going to mid elections.

Dems uses us as victim to make people feel sympathy for us, while Republicans makes us look like criminals for people to fear, and feel disdain towards us.

Both parties are disgusting.

Republicans are going to try and make democrats give up to fix something over a Trump made crisis.
