Pass it through the house!

Tweak it in the Senate,

Go to conference

Trump signs it,

Wait for green card in the mail!

Well, well, well. What did I say? They're going to try to tack on legislation addressing the family separation at the border and pass the compromise bill.

The moderate compromise bill is trash, but it would allow those that qualify to apply for a points program in 6 years and transition to PR and then eventually citizenship.
Both bills allow immigrants currently facing the loss of their protections under the DACA program (which the Trump administration is currently fighting in court to end) to apply for legal status in the US. The compromise bill would allow many of them to ultimately apply for green cards, making them eligible for citizenship.

Eventually, but the bills are laid out so that any of the slightest wrong move and your done for. Actually, all you need to be is poor or down on your luck and your out of here. I don't know anyone here, even the big shots, who can guarantee that somewhere down the line they won't face financial hardship. No one can guarantee what the future will bring, no matter how much you plan and save.

These children being separated from their parents at the border... they're the new generation of Dreamers. If you though we were a fucked up generation, they are far worse.

“The House bill will exclude Dreamers who entered after June 15, 2007, who entered at any age over 15, or who were over the age of 31 on June 15, 2017 (or 37 today). “

Is this a typo??? 31 yrs in 2017 would make someone 32 this year not 37......... because it it’s the former than am fucked! Was 32 in 2017

lol even in stories that say the bill is not enough, they don't mention older dreamers. Just younger ones.
