"Republicans should stop wasting their time on Immigration until after we elect more Senators and Congressmen/women in November," Trump tweeted. "Dems are just playing games, have no intention of doing anything to solves this decades old problem. We can pass great legislation after the Red Wave!

Trump will give a speech at 2:30 pm. The speech will be about the "angel families". Families who have suffered deaths of love ones at the hand of illegal immigrants.

Wouldn't be bad if you're okay with goodlatte type bills. I'm not, fuck the red wave all you trump supporters.

I am not a trump supporter but at this moment its hard to pass any legislation under this presidency. In 2020 this fcker might re elected.

I am pretty sure if we get more republicans the legislation would be the same as the compromise bill but other stuff added to it. I dont care what they pass as long as they pass something that includes a pathway to citizenship and travel privileges. Trump is right our immigration system is the worst. We need a fair fuckin bill.

What are the chances of a renewed discharge petition?

If we get more Republicans this November then pretty much all hope is lost and we should accept whatever bread crumbs they throw at us. If the US voters aren't outraged by now, nothing will outrage them at that point. I seriously doubt that will happen though.

Discharge petition is worthless without trumps support.

Yeah the people earlier in the thread don’t understand this. More Republicans means more people support GOP ideals than not. The current GOP ideals are to put immigrants in dog cages. More support for that stuff means more dog cages! One for me and one for you
