Hey guys, so I applied for green card through marriage, I last entered with advance parole. Got a letter saying that my EAD and AP has been approved and card is on the way, still waiting for interview schedule though.

My question is, is it safe to travel with AOS advance parole? If so, does going to Cuba make a difference? My wife is Cuban and I would love to meet her mom

PS. I also applied for DACA renewal to be on safe side and got my fingerprints next week

well uscis always will tell you that you can. CBP would tell you you most likely would be able to. but for sure no one can guarantee. you should be getting your GC interview within couple months and have the GC in a few. if you wanna be safe just wait for your Gc

You can as per Matter of Arrabally. Personally I wouldn't recommend it and just wait until you get your green card before traveling.

I agree. They are going after even legal residents. At this point you’re so close to getting that green card can’t you wait a bit more?

I havent hear of anyone being denied entry. HOWEVER, I had the same dilemma as you, I ended up not going for it. I have been here for so many years, no problem waiting a few months up to a year.

The thing is just unsafe to leave the country if you don’t have a permanent status. The issue is it’s up CBPs to determine if they let you back in. Not USCIS
