Hello Everybody!...I'm new to this forum and to the D.R.E.A.M. Act so here MY[/b] is Story.

I came to the united states when i was 1 years old, i currently have a spinal disease called Polio, i am not peralized but am lacking strength to stand up on my legs but i'm performing home therapy by my self to get the strength back. But anyways, at the age of 1, we came to visit the united states and went back before our visa time ran out. Then we went to Japan to live there for about 8 years ofcourse illegally because my dad didn't want to settle there but just to get some knowledge on car engines and parts which is huge in japan. After being there for 8 years, we finally decided to come back to the united states so i came here once again when i was 9 and a half years old. And i have been here since then, currently i am 18 years old, done with High School and ready for "The Land Of Opportunities". But that is not the case when my mom told me at the age of 16 that i couldn't get a car license, and in my case a car is VERY important because of my disabilities . And we can't even have insurance that pay for my Wheelchair so we dish out $400-$800 for a new wheelchair every 3 years and i feel bad for my parents because they work so hard to give me and my little brother anything we need and nothing we want because of our disadvantages, i want to be able to pay them back. My major is computers, i am pretty fluent in html and flash website creating. So i keep my fingers crossed that this bill passes so i can atleast get enrollment in ITT Tech and make enough to pay my parents back for what they've given us over the years.

Signed,

We are all in this together. This situation as unfortunate as it is has made a bond between us and now we are like brothers and sisters on the same mission. I hope the people who do not support the Bill get a chance to read our stories and realized that our fate rests in their hands. Good luck to you.
