He's making US money in Mexico. That's the dream man. He's probably getting a mansion with that income.

So I’ve officially left the USA and have been traveling Europe for almost a week now. Guess what? I’m loving every minute of it!!! I still have a little over 3 weeks left in my European travels and a few more countries to see before I head to my foreseeable destination of Puerto Vallarta. Will let you guys know how I feel in about a month or two. Best of luck!

Dude that’s awesome that you’re doing that. Personally I would had chosen Mexico City. Because that’s a mega city and you have everything there. Keep up us updated and good luck!

Just curious. How do you work remotely as a financial analyst?

I've worked at a financial institution too but I can't come up with any job position/company from the top of my head.

Best of luck to you and your fiancée!

I heard so many beautiful things about Puerto Vallarta, I hope to one day visit. After coming back from Mexico recently, I realized how much culture and tradition we have. I really missed out all these years. We have such a beautiful country, it’s just a shame that it has its problems. Definitely take advantage of traveling and seeing the world.

Thats the thing. He is running the risk of being let go eventually, but it is a risk he has been willing to take, and hes enjoying it. If anything I think his girl is from Europe, so thats a solid back up plan. He can also train how to climb walls in the mean time just in case lol

He’s starting his own office. Potentially going to make more than what he’s currently making. Also he’s getting partner experience.

PS remote is what many companies are moving towards.

Hello my fello DREAMers, although I’m pretty sure I no longer qualify as one. After all, it’s been also 2 full months now since I left the good old USA withou looking back. I must say that I am disappointed on the current state of events with DACA, seems like nothing is getting done any time soon. Really hoping you guys catch a break!

Anyways, I just wanted to hop on and you give you all a quick update. My European travels went a little longer than anticipated, we did 45 days total instead of the planned 31. We just really wanted to dig in and enjoy more of Easter Europe (my fiancées home land) so that we could fully experience the culture. I loved every minute of it! If Puerto Vallarta does work out for us (which we love so far) I could see myself living in any of various EU counties that we visited, luckily we could pick any!

As far as life outside the USA. I cannot express the feeling of liberation that has lifted from me. I was worried that I would feel anxious and scared on that final flight out knowing there was no going back, but truly, I felt nothing. I kept waiting for it to hit me but instead, upon arrival at the first EU country, the moment my passport was stamped for entry I felt empowered! I’ve always dreamed of traveling but I had never been anywhere but Mexico and USA for 28 years. In 45 days I went to Turkey, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Italy and Czech! I go back in December for another 30 days and cannot wait to discover more of Europe!

Now we’ve been in Puerto Vallarta for two weeks and although is humid and hot season, ive enjoyed going to the beach all time (I live half a block away!!) and have even went snorkeling already!!

Zero regrets so far! Life from the other side is wonderful if you can ensure that you have the right resources to live comfortably. Good luck DREAMers!
