I-765 question ! Help

For the new version of I-765 form, I read the instructions, I am a little bit confused

You must submit the following documents.
A. A copy of at least one of the following documents: Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record (front and back), a printout of your electronic Form I-94 from www.cbp.gov/i94, passport, or other travel document. If you are filing Form I-765 under the (c)(9) category, copies of any of the above are not required.

Do you need to submit copy of I-94 card , passport or travel document ?

Do you have to fill out your passport number and expiration date on the new I-765 form ?

Give them what they ask for

key phrase there is "a copy of at least one of the following documents"

give them your passport, the I-821D form has always asked for it anyway

I didn't have to do this for my renewal because the form hadn't yet been update, but what they ask for is what you must give

If you already gave them that information, do you need to send it again?

I have not seen the form and I dont remember but. Which passport number do we provide on both forms.

The old passport with which we came in... Our latest one? ( Expired) or do we need an unexpired one?
