I also have Ally savings and they have 1.75% interest on savings account.

From what I understood was that the guy had not answer the question of citizenship and because he fail to give a response the account was frozen but not because he wasn't a citizen. All you need to do is answer the question and you are all set they don't freeze your account for being undocumented. If they did they would have never let anyone open one. When I opened my account I used my passport or consular card no problem. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i'm with citibank because they don't have any issues at the moment...but i also have ally because they have better interest rates.
