So my EAD expires September 2019 and I am wondering if I should send in my renewal this week or not. I understand Hanen could stop all renewal but isnt John Bates higher status than Hanen? I mean Judge Bates is a federal appointed judge and should I wait a bit or I should just send in my renewal packet asap?
My EAD expires September 2019 as well. I spoke with my lawyer about renewing before the Hanen ruling, and he just called me today to say renewing is not as urgent now. He cancelled the appointment, and he's gonna call me tomorrow and tell me why it's not as urgent and what the next steps are. So yeah, maybe John Bates "outranks" Hanen.
