Wow, all because of the affidavit? A shame that. Why not use another to sign whom was a citizen or permanent resident?

The sponsor needs to sign an affidavit of support. Even if you have someone else willing or sponsor has an income of 0.

Basically only way around this would be to have 40 quarters of legal employment under the social security act, or for the spouse to die. Under which circumstances I could file I-864W.

Moreover the sponsor can withdraw I-130. I feel like the only reason she hasn't, is because she doesn't know that's an option.

Considering that I-601A became a road to nowhere the moment we split up - yeah.

I didn't even bother doing the biometrics for I-601A.

I thought the reasoning behind spouse not signing was due to not wanting to carrying the financial burden of I-864.

I can see why you would do VAWA self-petition. 3 year naturalization still applies.
