Advance Parole & I-130

Hello Everyone,

Any help would be appreciated.

Back in 2016, I traveled to my home country with an Advance Parole document. Went to my home country and got back into the US without any issues. My passport was stamped and I was paroled.


I recently got married to a US citizen and I am looking to adjust my status and I have some questions. I hope someone could help.


I see on form i-130 it is asking for the travel document number. I used the Advance Parole document to travel, I didn't make a copy of it. I don't remember it having any numbers, just my A number and the Case number.

Where is the travel document number?


Also, which forms do I need to fill out? From my research, I have gathered that I need to fill out form i-130 and i-485 together. I have been working in the US since 2013 and make pretty good money, do I need to file affidavit of support form?


Any help would be appreciated.

Get your passport and take the numbered that was stamped on thats what theyre asking

Thank you for the response. The stamp only has one number which seems to be a stamp number(62002). Everything else is just the date. There is the officer number and a purpose line with that says das1daca.

If I were you, I would spend $$ with a reputable lawyer. Don't fuck this up. You really don't want to fuck this up for other upcoming files.

Follow up question. On the my i-94 records says my admission class is DAS.

On the i-130 form there is an admission class - DA - Advance Parole.

Is that the class that I choose? There is no DAS class in the form.
I arrived into the USA using a Advance Parole document.

Travel document number is just your passport number. They call it travel document because some people dont have passports, but 'travel documents'. See i-130 instructions, pg 5, #7 Passport and Travel Document Numbers.

DA sounds accurate, were you EWI before?

that i remember, you need i130, i130a, i485, i765, i864, i693 (by doctor), i131 if you want advance parole again

travel document number is a number needed if a person was traveling without a passport/visa. so when I was self filing my forms I put (N/A) not applicable.

all my forms were excepted with no rfe.
it's always nice having a lawyer to go through and fill out all those forms. but if you can't afford one do a lot of research and also there are tutorial videos on exactly how to fill out the forms. more importantly read the instruction pages for each form it tells you what to put for each question.
