Yeah no kidding. I live in the same circumstance as many people here.
But I cannot agree with getting rid of DACA for a possibility of a solution.
What assurance do we have once DACA is gone? Who do you think beside us will feel the pain and urgency to act? Politicians?
We've gone through the DACA termination deadline already and nothing came out of it until our asses were saved by courts.
There is ZERO evidence this congress and administration will act on behalf of Dreamers. Did you not see GOPs ads during this campaign? They used racism and xenophobia to gather up their bases and it worked yet again. Please give me a reasonable answer to why they will go against their base to save us?
I want this shit show to be solved. But there is no way I will support ending DACA without a solution first.
