OMG, not to hijack this thread or anything, but I was just about to write a thread on that! Why is that [forgive my ignorance on that subject].

I remember this one time in World History class that I said I was Hispanic and some random, stark raving mad girl literally started yelling at me for using that word. I was like "WTF?!"

But yeah, any clarification would be great .

If someone could clarify that, it would be great but I personally am cool with either one. You know what really pisses me off? When I hear people (usually white what can i say) call a hispanic person "spanish" NO NO NO NO!!!!! A "spanish" person is someone from Spain!!!!

SHIT!!
