Next step is state ID card and establishing her credit. She wants to file for me right away but since she isn't working do I need to have a financial co-sponsor. I'm thinking I can use my uncle again but he's retired and does side jobs to keep himself busy. My brother is a USC and makes good money but we're not on speaking terms and would rather not use him unless it's absolutely necessary.
Congrats. She can file I-130 for you now. Sponsor issue won't matter until a Visa is available then you can get a sponsor for financials. Is your uncle a USC/PR? If yes, you can use him for that benefit. Try to get your bro on good terms in the meanwhile as backup. You also need to qualify under 245i to be able to adjust in USA otherwise, you need an approved 601A with Extreme Hardship letter.

How will your mom petition for you? Are you already in the states living with Daca?

It doesn’t matter where he is at for I-130 or what his status is.
