I'll take anything that let's me work. I'd pay double the taxes a citizen pays for none of the benefits that citizens get.

Exactly why immigrants who have been working here for 20+ years need the opportunity to apply for status as much as you. Furthemore, they have been productive longer.

Guys, stop perpetuating the non-sense that you are only worth of immigration status if you are of 'service'. That is the H1B program in which you immigrate on the premise of prospective labor.

The difference is that a lot of us — if not most of us — have no memories of ever living anywhere but this country. Some of us do not even speak the language of the country we come from and even the decision to come here was not our own. Returning to our “home country” would be a death sentence.

We are very clearly in a different situation than the immigrants you mentioned and the only reason we are even in the discussion to have a chance st legalization is because most Americans agree that we did did not choose this life.

gtfo taxes are already 30-40% of income. I'm not fucking working for 20-40% and none of the benefits. I rather go back to the shadows and take home cash.

@markknollee

Pres Trump didn't commit to a DACA deal on border wall funding, but he's "open-minded," Sen Graham told reporters on emerging from WH lunch with @POTUS. Graham said the pres called the idea "interesting."

He's gotta consult with his buddy Miller first.... actually he's gotta consult with Fox News first

Let’s stop acting like UWD and stop demanding GC. No we are not getting anything permanent, Trump isn’t going to give us anything permanent unless he gets something big in return.

I’ve said it all along, best case scenario BRIDGE act, worse case scenario NOTHING.

I hope this opens the door for dems to start negotiating for a permanent fix instead of band aid Bridge Act.
