That passed with bipartisan support as a rider on a defense appropriations bill. Republicans did something smart and instead of trying to amend it in it was written into the bill in the first place.

You know, what should've been done with the Dream Act back in 2010.

Democrats definitely aren't saints but blowing republicans when they've make it their life goal to make to your life hell since Reagan stepped off the stage is just plain fucking stupid.

1) President Obama gave us DACA, not Democrats
2) If Democrats managed to stick together back in 2010, then we would have gotten the Dream Act. The Democrats in the Senate FAILED us. Senator Dick Durbin COULDNT whip the votes for the Dream Act, that he was proposing for the past 9 years at that time.
3) The deal back in 2018 fell apart because the 9th circuit ruled in our favor. There would have been a deal otherwise.

1. President Obama was/is a democrat so DACA came from a democrat either ways. I don't see your point.
2. "The democrats in the senate FAILED us".... Uhm ok buddy if I remember correctly the vote was 55-41 (5 Democrats voted no compared to 41 republicans). Who really failed who?
3. The man (Trump) flip flops on everything. With all the lying and everything that happened the last few years do you really believe he would do anything for you if he successfully ended DACA?

5 votes short. 5 democrats voted no. The answer is clear. It's the Democrats who let us down with that vote 100%. Its not in Republicans agenda to legalize a bunch of undocumented people. That is on the Democrats agenda. How dare they vote no on that?

And Trump ended DACA OVER A YEAR after he promised to do it and that too because he was about to be sued by Texas AG. You really think he was about to defend DACA in court? lol. I'm sick and tired of hearing this stupid argument that "Trump ended this ...ended that"

He also promised Mexico would pay for the wall. Now there's a shutdown and hundreds of thousands of workers are not getting paid because he wants America to pay.

If that's how you see it cool homie

I personally don't really care who pays for what. As long as a Dreamer fix is in the equation, I'd support what they come up with. That actually was a campaign slogan. His base is too stupid and took him seriously. The whole "Wall" thing is a slogan. There will never be any wall. They will just get a bunch of funding and build a fence or something.

1) Oh Wow! I did not know that President Obama was a Democrats... *calls CNN, MSNBC and FoxNews to report this breaking news*
2) Yes they did, if the other 5 democrats have voted for us then we would have gotten GC's long time ago. Tester and Manchin are still in the Senate. The other 3 left or died. I will always wish the worse for those 5 Senators that did not vote for us back in 2010. And I am NO fan of Senator Dick Durbin. He COULD NOT WHIP THE VOTES! He is the most ineffective Senator in the Senate. He just wants to print our pictures on cardboards and talk about us...
Also, have you ever seen Republicans break ranks when they have an issue they care about so much? No. Never! Back in 2010, it has been the Democratic agenda to pass the Dream Act for the last 9 years. So they failed us!
3) Do some Googling about Trump and Dreamers before he ran for the President. He has pictures with bunch of Dreamers in his Trump Tower office in NYC. I believe that he will do something at the end! If the 9th circuit had not ruled at all back in March 2018, there would have been a deal. There was no deal because there was no urgency. End of story!
