I was wondering if any of you have ever financed a dental procedure through credit card such as Care Credit or maybe payments directly to the dental office?

I have been using my employer insurance so far which is working out well. However, I'm at risk of losing more teeth if I don't get an implant or two because of teeth shifting into the empty space.

I am not really savvy at using credit for paying these procedures. I would hate to get in debt with an implant but at this point it's really a necessity due to chewing.

Do you guys have any finance knowledge or any stories about fillings, braces, dental implants, extractions etc. How did you get yours and did your parents help as a child or you paid as an adult?

As a dreamer child my brother and me went through a lot of dental neglect while our U.S born brothers and sisters had plenty of dental appointments.

I usually pay cash if I don't have insurance but a dental implant runs up to $3500 for a single tooth. Life would be easier if I could get it in another country but that is just not possible right now.

I think Dental offices offer financing if you are unable to pay or if your insurance doesnt cover it. I would talk to them and make sure it is 0% APR
