Okay. That does not really sound like plan B. They are simply other possible options. I guess I thought you had some "master" plan B. I don't know. I tend to over think things.

I do not have family that can sponsor me. I could possibly marry, but most people usually annoy me. So I do not think that I can be married to someone for 3-5 years. Couple years ago or so I did apply to Australia. I even chose all of the possible territories. However, I never heard back from them. I thought that having a PhD in a STEM field would make a difference, but I guess it did not... I do not know. I HATE the cold. So I will never apply to Canada.

There are options out there and although they may take longer but at least it’s a glimpse of hope.

-Applying to Canada or another immigrant friendly country, most dreamers are doing that.
-Adjusting through marriage
-Being sponsored by a family member

These are just some options dreamers are doing as a plan B. Personally I was waiting on marriage even though my girlfriend has given me the option, however if it gives me a glimpse of opportunity yes I will do so and take that as a plan B and if that doesn’t work, apply to Canada and qualify through their point system.

She doesn’t but she asked me one time “are you a citizen?” And I told her “no, i am not a citizen yet” And she asked me “don’t you want to be a citizen?” and I said “I want to be a citizen one day but its complicated” after that i didn’t go anymore further into details. I am sure she knows a little about what DACA is. But i didn’t tell her.

Life goes on my brothers and sisters. I still believe at the end of the day we will be ok. That might be this year or maybe even 2021, regardless as long as we can work legally something will have to give sooner or later. Honestly being a dreamer played a big role in the person I am today and Im thankful for that. All my friends (USC) really dont appreciate the gift they have not having to go thru this bullshit, The way I look at it is that life isnt perfect and this is our burden... keep pushing yall!!!

Sometimes i lose faith. I am already in my mid 20’s And my concern is not being able to travel and see my family and friends back home.

I would recommend that you don't marry her... Because you are obviously going to end up boom booming her. She will get pregnant after several rounds of that. Then you will have 1 2 3 ... who knows how many kids.?! Then you cannot consciously divorce her because of the kids.... You will just be as miserable as you are right now...
Only marry 1) if you can get along with that person and 2) if you actually like that person.

We had dinner together. I asked her if she watched any tv series and she said no. She’s my plan B if i feel like we are not gonna get anything out of congress. I wanna travel and see our home country, the philipines. Its been 14 years for me. I miss pinas.
