I suggest my Democratic colleagues make a good faith effort to solve this problem before it is too late.

* TPS program is going to be canceled unless reformed.

* DACA population won’t get legal status unless we address some of the causes of a broken immigration system.

I don't understand what the republicans are thinking. Wall for daca legalization is the best solution for republicans. They get wall funding and they take away one of dem's campaign issues in 2020. Plus, Trump will boast that he helped DACA kids so it'll pull latino votes toward republicans and it'll be hard to call him a racist because he helped people that are by majority not white.

If Republicans offer a serious DACA deal and democrats don't take it, they can say "look, dems don't care about these innocent kids" and they'll lose latino votes.

It's such a win-win situation for republicans... yet they offer some BS bridge act. The republican strategist must have their heads in their ass. Even the CATO institute and the Koch brothers see this.

Trump gets credit for brining us up too. Even tho he then offered a shitty compromise afterward. BUT GUYS... he cares. All this time, the whole wall thing has just been an excuse to talk about us.

Translation: We're going to use DACA to change the current legal immigration system. I don't think dems will agree to this.
