The Democratic house is not "uber liberal". They're the only side offering compromises. There was a lot of stepped up enforcement since CIR in 2012 as a compromise for DA, CIR, notice only Democrats held up their end?

"Border security" has no definitive timeline and the GOP knows it. They will continue insisting we'll be part of some grand deal soon as we secure the border and nothing will ever satisfy those demands short of airlifting the country and surrounding it with electrified fencing.
