Trump just blew up his excuse for a National Emergency. He admitted on live TV that he's doing it so that he can fulfill a campaign promise and and get a win before the elections. The courts are going to have a field day with this one.

He literally said he didn't have to do this, it will backfire on him. The only way I see him getting the wall now is through DA/Wall compromise.
