So I lost my social. I know its somewhere in my house after moving, I cannot find it anywhere. I wanted to get it replaced. I did find my EAD card. Has anyone done this before ? I want to change jobs so I wanted to get it quickly. Does anyone know how many days it will take and how much it will cost...

I did find my EAD and renewal letter...

I read on here that when applying for renewal if you select no in one question they will sent you social security card again is that true?

Thanks

You don’t need a social security card to get a job. EAD is a class A document on the I-9 which satisfies both identity and legal right to work.

And no, you have to go to the Social Security Administration office to get a replacement. You can’t mark “No” on your daca renewal

I lost mine and just went to the social security office for a replacement. You can’t do it online since we are not citizens. All you need is your ID/ License and your EAD CARD.

Count your blessings you lost the ssn card and not your EAD card.

Lost EAD card = $495
Lost SSN card = $0

Go to a social security office that handles card replacements, bring an SS-5 form and your EAD, that's about that.
