I went to mana immigration law and she charges 2k more but has 10+ years of experience and I feel a lot for comfortable with her mannerism and how informed she is. She also gave me better advice on my situation so I will probably stick with her. Thanks for the help everyone!

I paid 5000 lawyer fees + USCIS fees for BOTH of my parents.

Though it looks like a ton of money, nothing beats the peace of mind offered by having legal representation.

Think of it as an investment for the future.

Absolutely. I saved up quite a bit of money anticipating this moment so it's no prob for me as long as i get value. The first lawyer I talked to was not worth what she was asking for.

Don't ever let people make you feel bad because you're spending more than THEY think you should spend. It's just human nature to undermine other people whether it's a lawyer or a plumber. "Brah, that plumber totally ripped you off. I know a handyman how did it for me cheaper".

I'm glad to hear Mana is such a great lawyer. If I ever have a falling out with my own lawyer, I'd go to her too.
