Filing fee with credit/debit card

Has anyone paid with a debit or credit card successfully? I was thinking of doing this, but I don't know if it's best to just send a cashier's check/money order.

I was successfully able to pay for my I-485 and I-130 applications using my American Express card. You'll have to fill out a G-1450 form with the credit card you would like to use and do not forget to sign it. Then you submit it with whatever application you are filing.

Yes. You can also send personal check, they charge using ACH, so your check converts to electronic funds transfer anyways. If paying by debit/credit card, fill out form G-1450 and attach to your immigration packet.
