Not sure what’s that supposed to mean? None of us get financial aid and we’ve worked very hard and paid for our college tuition expenses ourselves. My sister, had she gone to medschool, would’ve obviously had to loan funds from extended family or get private loans to attend med school.

Almost a decade ago?

Daca was 2012

At the most it was 7 years ago but you should to an advisor at NYIT in person and explain what daca is

OP, you should have clarified what a DO School is.. I'm pretty positive most here don't know that is hence the confusion. As far as I know most of those schools including M.Ds require at least permanent residence.

A D.O. is an osteopathic physician, while an M.D. is a medical doctor, an allopathic physician.

Found these 2 lists might help you:

What are you talking about? You can attend ANY college you want! I know many undocumented people who attended NYIT. If you can pay for it ain’t nobody stopping you from going to college. I went to Hofstra not too far from NYIT before DACA even existed.

EDIT: I mean for undergrad purposes.. I realize there might be special rules for grad related studies like Med school.

Lmao

Always quick to make conclusions

As a side note I called NYIT today and confirmed with them they do not accept daca. What a shame

The advisor I talked to seemed annoyed too as it’s something lots of people call about
