If you didn't already know, Richard Nixon who has more than a few similarities to the current guy denied John Lennon, probably one of the most popular people in the entire universe at the time his Green Card. Yes, Nixon tried to have 1/4 of the Beatles deported.

Of course, he had the means to fight back and ultimately won but a week after his order of deportation came, he and Yoko held a press conference and announced they were forming a new country called Nutopia and that they were ambassadors of this land-less and border-less country. It's a good read about how they brought attention to their cause and abuse of the law by Nixon.

This world wasn't just fucked up after 2016.

It's been way fucked up since at the minium since the theft of Texas. When illegal immigrants from the United States barged in, refused to assimilate, and then illegally seceded.


Then in ww2 after decades of meddling and noticing that the Germans the US felt exposed with Mexico getting chummy with the Germans and did bracero labor but then never paid the rest of the money owed. They also built up Mexican manufacturing but have the nerve to hate us for manufacturing.
