Little help.

I am terribly confused right now. I work for a fortune 20 company. Tech. Engineering degree. Programer.

I just got an email from my "employer" about submitting me for a perm labor certification.

Can't tell if it's a phishing email or they just got my status confused or what. I've worked for other fortune 20 companies and none have sent me or talked to me about this

Is this an option for us?

It is possible but there are only 3 ways you qualify.
1. you didn't accumulate illegal presence in the US after turning 18 no more than 180 days I believe
2. you have 245i
3. You traveled with advance parole to clear your entry without inspection.

What company if I may ask.

Dont you still need to have a valid status in order to adjust if the Perm labor cert is approved?

Just dont reply. Programmers are usually very busy. I know I "miss" a good amount of emails when im busy at work. If it is important they will call you

I was a fool and didn't clear my EWI when I could. Like another post mentioned, I was always so busy. I regret it now.

Large company located in Washington

I am OOF at the moment anyway. So I will wait until I am back to work next year.

Most likely a phishing email but will keep the thread updated

So I guess it's not phishing. I just got notified directly through the company portal.

I gotta check with them when I am back to make sure they understand what DACA is.

So I emailed my immigration department. Just to confirm the legitimacy of the email, aka that they sent it. They confirmed and asked if I had any particular questions or concerns about it.

I don't know if I should reply and tell them that I don't think I am eligible or just go for it and see where it goes.

I am looking at the requirements for an EB-3 https://www.uscis.gov/working-united...reference-eb-3

Nowhere does it talk about current presence in the USA being an exclusion

I believe Redneck is correct.
I talked to a lawyer about EB2 and basically said because I incurred 180 days+ I wasn't eligible.
