The lawyer has submitted the 601A with the paperwork I collected . (Based on hardship for my LPR mother). I received a biometrics appointment for Jan 9. After that the nerve racking waiting period to see if it is approved starts for me.
Can your mom petition you instead? You may have better chances that way.

I think the employment visas are very limited.

The employment based PR for my birth country (Guatemala) are actually current, I dont think there will be a wait period for that.
My mom did file an I-130 for me about 5 months ago as back up, however, that will take much longer. The employment based route I went with my employer started back in 2017 and is at the 601A stage now. Im hoping this will be faster. The I-130 for unmarried children of LPR is still on priority June 2014 as of now (so 5 more years for them to get to mine which again was just submitted in 2019)

I attended the biometrics appointment at the end of last week. Wondering if there is anything else after this, or most likely is is just a matter of waiting until I received some response by the end of 2020 probably (601A was filed end of November)? to all of those of you approved, rejected or RFE how how long after the finger prints did you all receive the next notice?

My husband had his biometrics done in May. We’re still waiting on the next notice. I’m curious with what others say. Seems like some people said they had theirs approved within 8-9 months, but I guess his also might be slower due to holidays and such.

It took about 9 months for me to get a notice of approval for 601a. I did not receive any notices between the fingerprint appointment and the approval notice. As long as you don't get an RFE I think all you have to do is wait.

Was your application processed in Nebraska or Potomac?

How much time do I have after receiving this letter (case termination) from nvc to continue my case, went through some financial difficulties but I’m ready to continue my case, I have my I-130 approved through my spouse petitioning for me I have an appointment with lawyer. Anyone have experience with this I don’t want to have to start all over again.

It means you have not been in contact with the NVC in over a year. They are giving you the chance let them know if you wish to continue with the process. If you already paid your AOS and IV fees, you may have to pay them again.

You or your lawyers needs to contact the NVC via email, phone call, or mail at least once a year to keep your case active.
