Trump's Requested budget to ask for increased funding for ICE and CBP

The budget asks for massive increases for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP). If Trump’s budget goes unchallenged by Congress, CBP would get a whopping $18.2 billon – including $163.6 million to support the hiring, training, and equipping of 750 additional officers. ICE would get $10.4 billon, including $313.9 million for an additional 1,000 law enforcement officers and 666 support personnel.
