I don’t have DACA or any other US documents so I’ll be traveling with my valid Venezuelan passport with no visa

I know people that had done the same without incidents no too long ago so I decided to make one of my dreams into reality. I’m very excited but I’m starting to freak out!!

Does anyone in here has done the same? How was it.

I have but only while on DACA. My passport has no stamps or visa. All they look at is the ID page.

I would say you are a brave soul. I wish you luck. Best you can do is don't look nervous.

Chances are you will be fine if that's the dicision you made.

Hello fellow Venezuelan! Don't overthink it, many people do it without issues.

Why are you going there? Just for personal travel?

Wash your hands, don't lick doorknobs, don't touch your face. be careful when others are sneezing or coughing.
Theres coronavirus in Tampa. Not a lot, but I want you to be careful.

Me, I'm headed to Portland Oregon, then LA this March. Two places with confirmed coronavirus.

Yeah. COVID-19 is no joke.

Are you traveling with just a passport?

I flew from NYC to San Antonio, TX without any issue a month ago (long story short, I moved). The thing is that I flew using my NY Driver's License (though it has the "temporary visitor" text which already expired), I also had my EAD and passport just in case.

I don't think TSA really cares. The first agent looked at my ID and boarding pass, did a double take on my ID (old picture), past that nobody wanted to see my ID. Airline just wants a boarding pass. There is absolutely no security on the other end, you just get off the plane and are free to go wherever.

So basically as long as you get past the first agent you're home free.

No passport, I do have one but I leave it home. Because im afraid they'll look for a visa, even though they cant stop you if one isnt there.

I take my RealID, and then my EAD and SSN in wallet just in case. TSA took once glance at my ID and was like ok go on.
