I'm in CA if that makes a difference.
Depends on your definition of a weapon.

Firearms, no we're "Prohibited persons" under the National Firearms Act.
Anything else (bladed weapons, blunt weapons, crossbows, flamethrowers) is pretty much fair game as long as it's legal in the jurisdiction. Flamethrowers for instance are restricted only in CA and MD, I thought about picking up one for home defense back in New York.

For things like guns that the ATF doesn't classify as firearms (smoothbore muzzle loaders, flintlocks, front-loading naval cannons) I really do not know. I want to say yes but do not quote me on this one after you use a naval cannon to get rid of a crowd trying to raid your stash of toilet paper.

No you can not buy guns. If you try, it will bounce when the shop runs your background. My sister is in the military so she keeps a few in the house. I’m no fool and they just stay in the house when she’s deployed. If you get caught with one it’s game over bro. I live in Texas now so technically I could buy one from a private party but I were to get pulled over on the way home with a firearm I wouldn’t be talking to you right now.

Even in hardest hit Wuhan they were still able to go out and get food. They had the military deployed to kill anyone trying to take advantage of the misfortune brought upon the Chinese nation via their own bioweapon.
You only need some 13k military units to make a big city calm down like in the LA riots.

The US has about 2 million units, not counting reservists.

Best case scenario I get a lot of practice with this type of gear.

Lmao I also have a mini crossbow. You guys should consider getting the true 80lb horizone redback limb. The limbs you guys have are advertised as 80lbs but they are really only 50lbs at best. I've done penetration tests with both and it makes quite a difference. To give you an idea, I lined up a bunch of empty soda cans filled with water and shot them with bolts from both limbs. With the 50 lbs limb the bolt penetrated 6 cans and with the redback the bolt went through 10.

If you get the hunting tips from Joerg Sprave they also increase penetration even more. They are really expensive though

I also zip tied a nurses clip under the crossbow and you can carry up to 10 bolts right under the bow so it helps with faster reloading

I uploaded a couple of pics to a image hosting site

I've heard those little clips being called either a "nurses clip"or "pen holder". Either or. I just cut off a small part of it and zip tied it underneath the crossbow. Hopefully the pictures give you an idea of what I did.
