Health care staff here in one of the COVID-19 hot spots:
Aged out Dreamer. Email and call your representatives. They can and need to pass the DreamAct. This is the right time. We are in a national emergency. We are considered essential staff at the state and federal level and we need all hands on deck . This situation is worse than what's being reported and is in the national interest to keep all in the workforce.

Same with agricultural workers, food services, janitorial and environmental cleaning services who keep society running at this crucial time.

What a time we are living in. Please contact your congressperson.

Take care. Stay safe and wash your hands.

"Nah it's time for republican hate on Immigrants, even during a national crisis there is always room to hate on the illegal immigrant. Even when people are dying, at least DACAs didn't get theirs."

This is literally the current mainstream republican thought product.

Radiologic Technologist at a big hospital in a major city here. Exposing myself daily because there are not enough gowns, masks, face shields, etc. ....when it's all over I expect Trump to say: "Thank you for your help, now go fuck yourself" ......actually, I don't expect him to thank us, I just expect him to tell us to go fuck ourselves.

SC already voted. They vote within the week they hear the case. Now they are drafting the opinions. I am not sure you are allowed to change your vote after voting but either way. DACA is gonna stand for 1 more year or it will end. Most likely end after your EAD card expires, assuming SC strikes it down.

But I see the SC turning it back to the Appellate Courts.

Supreme Court Ruling doesnt mean the program will end, it will give Trump all power to end it if he chooses to take action.

Remember, they were considering if trump can shut the program down, as if he has the power, authority and cause.

And looking at Trumps history

Trump Ends DACA, September 5, 2017

I am sure users Smooth, Liberterian, 2Face are jumping in joy right now

Was suppose to end on First day of Presidency. He had promised that throughout his campaign and fooled all his supporters. Finally he ended it on that September date because AG Paxton and his gang threatened to sue. Who in their right mind would think Trump would defend DACA against Paxton lol....

Regardless...at this point...we have a much bigger issue at hand, this goddamn covid..i wish it would disappear and we will get back to arguing about daca/dream act.

I agree that anyone active in healthcare should get their papers after this.

I can already hear UWD with their, its all or none approach.
