Loan perhaps? There should be a stimulus check coming in shortly as well.

I think United We Dream has a DACA renewal fund that they use to help those in need. Check them out.

Good luck trying to get UWD to cover your DACA renewal fees. They are very good at collecting "donations" to cover it but when you try to contact them for it, there ain't anyone there to answer your call.

I say this as a salty and envious non-DACEer but be that as it may, your DACA is the most important thing in your life, especially now with all that's going on. It's the only thing making you a whole person and you know without when it's up for renewal and you have two years to scrape up a $1000 (give or take, I don't know what renewal is now days) and put it aside. How do you not do that?

Are you part of the population that got laid off or furloughed? I am trying to understand how an American much less a DACAer would not have a 'rainy day' fund. It never cease to amaze me how many people who were born here are living badly on paycheck to paycheck.

I am not trying to be offensive but I really am just trying to understand.

I have a job I was just exploring other options incase I couldn't get the money together. plus many Americans just weren't able to afford the opportunity to get high level jobs and have no choice but to work pay check to paycheck.
