The second batch will happen on the 23rd of this April.

On research alone, I noticed two things as to why people (not just DACA people) have not received their stim. check/assistance:
  1. You have filed 2018 but not 2019
  2. Have filed for 2018 but not 2019 BUT have also had 1099, or self-employment payment on 2018
  3. Have not filed 2018 and 2019 at all

I would wait until the end of the 23rd. If nothing happens, the IRS website has a form you can fill to bump up a request. In between this, I will also be filing for this year's tax return, thank goodness for the extended deadline in July. It's also helping that I have a bit of saving, but I'm getting a little anxious as I still need to pay rent.

I still haven't received my payment even though I filed 2019 tax returns. The reason being is that for 2019 I had taxes owed, so while I paid the IRS using my bank account, they will not deposit my stimulus payment to that same checking account, so I had to give them my bank information last Wednesday. Hopefully I see the money on the 23rd.

Identical situation here.

Hello, why did you have taxes owed? Were you under 1099 or working as self-employed? Why wouldn't they deposit to your bank account and then you gave them your bank account again?

I'm quite confused... Is it because they wouldn't take a debit checking account? Perhaps the credit card works?

When did you file your taxes?

My wife was self employed but didn't pay taxes throughout the year, so she had to pay it all when we filed. I checked the FAQ on the IRS website and they state that they wouldn't deposit the money to the account that you used if you paid taxes, only on the account that you used if you were issued a refund, not sure why.

Thanks, well I believe it's up for a wait now.

I can't believe I'm not seeing more of these because there are still a million or so people who have not received any help. I'm not begging, but since then we're all on lockdown it would help.

Do you have the link from the IRS page where you actually contacted them and confirmed with you? I'm trying to look for the similar thing you've mentioned but I can't find anything.

Well it's the second batch, and nothing happened even with my friend. I guess we'll just keep paying taxes dutily and then working our butts off anyway? Lol

They started sending out checks this week. Who knows when they're going to send out the direct deposits....
