my high school teacher wanted to adopt me too, but when I told her about my situation (senior year), it was too late, I was over 16....she did pay for my first year at a community college though.......God bless her

I used that word to let you know why I want to start calling politians. Because I could have adopted 2kids.. but they could have been from here in the states... and I would never have realized the issues that so many illegal minors face.
So I said hispanic to clarify where they came from.

I think a lot of people would adopt if they knew the rules.
But the best solution is the get this Dream act passed!
