That wouldn't give us time to hold jobs to pay for that college, though...

first remove in state, change age limit to 30, now 4 years? Come on, might as well change the name of the ACT! 4 years is no good... what if some people cant afford school, or for example someone wants to go to medical school, etc? THEIR DREAMS will be destroyed. What if ICE just does another raid.. I mean come on we cant compromise everything, its going 2 far.

true i was not planning to go on 4 years...i only plan on going 2 years because what I want to work for is in music and that just 2 years and since i want to do it independently and legally but some people want to make it tougher. Plus the dream act does have enough support its just many of us have been reading lots of the negative then the positive. Also let's keep spreading that there is no in-state because some are against it still because of that lie that spreading that there is still in-state tuition WHICH THERE IS NO IN-STATE TUITION.

don't you also think that most of us already should earn it after all the hard work we put in working for college, also we graduated from high school which not many hispanics get too.

Although I think the majority of us would qualify for the adjusted bill this writer suggests, it really would make no difference. I myself am a semester away from finishing by BS Degree so I can speak objectively on the issue. Durbin proved a very important point a few weeks ago when support for DREAM did not even twitch when he adjusted the bill.

Fact of the matter is, this battle which I hope arises this upcoming november, will not be won by increasing requirement provisions. So I suggests not wasting any time emailing, calling, faxing for the purpose of changing the text, in order to gain support. Most senators already have an idea of how they will vote, all that is required is for us to keep showing support.

The article was writing of assumption, Durbin has not made the changes to dream, and it sounds like a good idea to get more republican support, but I would be really surprised if Durbin compromised dream that far his bargaining space is not going to be compromised that far

I think it's a good idea in the sense of how far our education goes, and I like the community service part personally, but hey these are only suggestions after all.

p.s. LMAO at the soulja boy dance comment
