Do you think Miller and Trump will legalize us?

I am good until end of 2021 and will be adjusting my status via marriage before then.

So, in your cross-eyed view, there's a bigger chance of Republicans and Democrats magically putting their differecnes aside and coming together to pass a permanent, reasonable, and sensible DACA solution in an election year before Trump is out of office? And that the Trump admin will eventually pass?

It's gonna be the same old shit demands from the Republicans... just another version of the Goodshit Bill where we give up all of our rights, make it super easy for them to deport us, and allow them to keep pushing a White nationalist agenda courtesy of shitbags like Stephen Miller.

LOL. What are you on?

For the people who want Supreme Court to kill DACA, I command your faith in Congress coming together to fix DACA.

Given the track record of Congress compromising on Dream Act, the chance of permanent fix is very slim.

Yep, the lives we've built are effectively over. Sad but true.

I'm speaking just for myself, I said he was going to be good for Dreamers and he has for me, since I'm still here and not deported. My EAD was not terminated on "Day 1" as he promised so my prediction was pretty accurate. Everyone's definition of "good" is different, and for me its been good.

Big risk, big reward lads. Without killing DACA we will die with DACA. They have no urgency to help us because we have something currently.

congress can't even help it's own citizens. you really think they give a fuck if some of us lose our status and get deported? Most Democrats may care or pretend to care, few republicans if any actually would pretend to care. You still have Cotton, Paul in the Senate that will block any legislation from passing. I doubt 7-10 republicans in the Senate will help Democrats pass any reform. Miller won't let Trump sign any legislation that will be seen as "AMNESTY"

Only way for something to pass is for Trump to get destroyed in Nov and Republicans waking up and realize if they ever want to hold power again they will have to moderate some of their hard right positions. Worst case scenario under Trump is we get deported. best case under Trump is he doesn't do anything until after the election.

Worst case scenario under Biden is we have DACA for 4 more years. Best case under Biden is some legislation passes that helps us.

You are still here because the courts stop trump from proceeding to cancel DACA. If that's "good" for you then you're placing your faith on the wrong place.

I don't understand what the big deal about renewing your EAD every two year is all about.

Travel? Small price to pay
Voting? Meh

What is it? It's just 500 bucks. To me and I would thin .ost of us the risk is not worth the reward.
